Located on the edge of an ancient woodland in Oxfordshire, this contemporary cedar clad house blended perfectly into the woodland.
We designed the front garden to be a space for meandering through. It was a long garden that connected with the rear garden around the house. The style of the garden was contemporary to match the house.
Staggered plank paving was laid to create a path that weaved around the large drifts of tall grasses and cow parsley. Irish moss and feather grasses dotted the spaces in between pavers against a foil of gravel. This ran alongside the cedar pergola as an alternative journey through the front garden.
